Anti-Piracy & Content Protection Policy
The CPL maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against piracy, unlawful retransmission, unauthorized copying, and all other forms of infringement affecting CPL+ Content.

The CPL maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against piracy, unlawful retransmission, unauthorized copying, and all other forms of infringement affecting CPL+ Content.
Piracy undermines the commercial value of the CPL's broadcast and streaming rights, prejudices clubs, sponsors, players, and stakeholders, and damages the sustainable development of professional football in Cambodia.
The CPL shall employ technological, legal, commercial, and operational measures to detect, prevent, investigate, suppress, and enforce against piracy and other unauthorized uses of Content.

For the purposes of this Agreement, the following acts are strictly prohibited:
23.Content Protection Measures
DRM and Encryption. CPL+ may apply encryption, DRM, secure tokenization, playback controls, and other technological protection measures to Content.
Forensic Watermarking. CPL+ may embed session-specific or user-specific watermarking and forensic identifiers into streams and recordings for the purpose of tracing unauthorized redistribution.
Monitoring and Detection. The CPL may monitor login behavior, session anomalies, stream concurrency, suspicious access patterns, and online platforms for potential infringement.
Takedown Action. Upon detection of Infringing Content, the CPL may issue takedown notices, infringement notices, cease-and-desist notices, preservation requests, or other enforcement communications to platforms, ISPs, hosts, intermediaries, venue operators, advertisers, and relevant authorities.
Geo-Access Controls. The CPL may apply geo-blocking, regional access restrictions, device authentication, and other access controls to comply with territorial rights and licensing obligations.
24.User Obligations
As a condition of access to CPL+, each User is legally bound to refrain from all acts of piracy and unauthorized exploitation of Content.
Users shall not use or install any tool, software, hardware, script, browser extension, or service intended to defeat or bypass Platform security, playback restrictions, or rights management controls.
Users shall not share credentials in a manner that facilitates unauthorized mass access, piracy, or commercial misuse.
Users who become aware of piracy or unauthorized public exhibition of CPL+ Content are encouraged to report it to info@cpl-cambodia.com.
25.Enforcement Measures
Account Action. Where an Account is reasonably suspected or forensically identified as a source of piracy or unauthorized redistribution, the CPL may immediately suspend or permanently terminate that Account without refund.
Civil Remedies. The CPL may pursue all available civil remedies, including injunctions, damages, account of profits, delivery up, preservation of evidence, costs, and any other relief permitted by law.
Criminal Referral. Where infringement appears willful, organized, fraudulent, or commercially motivated, the CPL may refer the matter to law enforcement or regulatory authorities for criminal investigation and prosecution.
Third-Party Cooperation. The CPL may cooperate with rights holders, technology providers, social media platforms, internet service providers, broadcasters, industry bodies, anti-piracy organizations, and law enforcement agencies in connection with piracy detection and enforcement.
Venue Enforcement. Commercial venues exhibiting Content without authorization may be subject to immediate enforcement action, including takedown demands, damages claims, and legal proceedings.
26.Takedown and Counter-Notice Procedure
The CPL may issue takedown notices or equivalent enforcement notices in accordance with applicable platform procedures, intermediary rules, and relevant legal processes.
A person who receives such a notice and believes it was issued in error may submit a written counter-notice to info@cpl-cambodia.com, together with sufficient supporting information.
The CPL shall review any counter-notice in good faith but reserves all rights to maintain, renew, or escalate enforcement action where it considers infringement to have occurred.

Reports relating to piracy, infringement, billing, legal notices, privacy matters, or commercial licensing may be submitted to:

This Agreement shall enter into force on the Effective Date stated above and shall remain in effect until amended, replaced, or withdrawn by the CPL in accordance with Applicable Law and the CPL's governance procedures.
